Postcard Teas

7-Jan-2010    Bakesale replaced with OpenCart 1.3.4

We have successfully completed a project for the electricSnow Agency in Belfast replacing the existing CakePHP Bakesale shopping cart system with OpenCart 1.3.4.

This enables the customer's website (Postcard Teas in London) to accept more online payment options and to have the ability of maintaining all products via a simple spreadsheet file which can be imported to the website's database.

25-Dec-2009    Google Checkout for OpenCart 1.3.x

Google Checkout

We have released a new checkout and online payment module for OpenCart 1.3.4 which supports the Google Checkout.

It implements the Checkout API, the Notification API and the Merchant Calculations API according to Google's developer guidelines.

Unlike other payment modules for OpenCart, this one uses an express checkout scenario without the need for the user to log into his OpenCart store account. The reason for not going with the normal OpenCart checkout flow is because of Google's more restrictive Terms & Conditions.

The order processing and tracking is all done via the Google Checkout merchant account, not through OpenCart.

1-Dec-2009    OpenCart integration into live sites

Fireworx Scotland Terabyte Technology

Over the past 2 months we have successfully integrated the OpenCart 1.3.x e-commerce package into various websites. This enabled the site owners to offer their customers online store and payment features while using their existing site layouts and themes.

30-May-2009    More open source donations for the OpenCart project

During the past few months we have worked on a number of e-commerce websites based upon the OpenCart technology. As a result, the following addon modules became available for the OpenCart project under the GPL license. They were developed for various 1.x versions of OpenCart.
