The BYTE.com editor Jon Udell published an interesting
article about the language-agnosticism
of the Java Virtual Machine back in December 2000. The JVM has always been language-neutral and we at MHCCORP.COM
have been marketing and supporting compilers for the whole Pascal programming language
family since 1999.
Since then, the JVM (Java Virtual Machine) has grown in popularity despite the arrival of the competing CLR (Common Language Runtime) in
Microsoft's .NET technology. It was servlets that proved the real strength of Java
as a platform for network services. We at MHCCORP.COM plan to release an open source
web service tool which builds upon J2EE but uses a much simpler
Model-View-Controller architecture. This will enable the software developers to create powerful
database-driven web services without having to learn complicated frameworks or APIs.
